Plane half empty, glass half full

It's a pretty rare thing boarding a plane that is half empty. You can swap seats immediately after take off as long as you return to your original one for landing as requested by a beautiful air hostess. And on Garuda flight Hong Kong to Bali, they are beautiful. In fact everything about this place is beautiful, even the taxi driver who drove us some 90 minutes from the airport and I swear I caught dropping off a couple of times, had a nice vibe to him. Would have been a calm death anyway.
We have two bungalows, I'm in with Oskar, Liz and Stash have a double bed next door.

Fell asleep to the sound of the sea and Ghekko speak, awoke to tiny gentle knocking from a girl wondering if she could tidy our room. After breakfast where they play amazing music and you just want to stay all day, Liz went and chilled and the remaining 3 Morden refugees took to the warm rain in search of some smack.

  1. Bob, Good to hear from you mate!

Lovely photos, the one of the beach got a 'woah' from both the kids. Your descriptions also paint their own pictures! Looks like a lovely place and sounds like you're having a good adventure so far. I'm really jealous.

I'm missing you in the playground already. Very strange with Kiran taking himself off to school early and then just me and Zara. Loads of new parents and some of the children look so TINY!

Looking forward to your next post from wherever else in the World - marvelous invention this interweb thingy :-)

You're contributing to the Evans family education on World geography.

    Peter.
