Next stop Komodo dragon safari! As Mowie would say ' amazing, amazing, amazing!' we felt like we were in a David Attenborough documentary, buffalo, deer, eagles, giant fruit bats, monkeys, wild boar and lots and lots of Komodo dragons! They were every where, the rangers (one was 15yrs old!) who took us were armed with a stick (apparently you poke them in the eye? Although one ranger said the best thing to do is run! Although they are really safe...... they only killed one 10 year old boy in 2007 and the saliva in their mouths is deadly and can kill a buffalo, which we were lucky or unlucky enough to see, depending on your point of view.

Anyway all in all it was an adventure, and the kids don't seem phased at all- they in fact they say they loved it! Oskar has two new hero's (the young French guys who can do triple flips into the / fish / surf and ski), and stash fitted in very well with the girls sunbathing on the deck!
We are now chilling in a beautiful apartment overlooking the harbour- and we will not be going on any more boat trips!
